The Carlin Lake Association was established to preserve the natural beauty of the lake and its surrounding environment. The branding reflects the history of the region and gives residents (LOONatics as they call themselves) a summer-camp-meets-classic-sporting-club-banner to exist and operate under.

Standards Manual has developed a strong reputation in the creative world for archiving, preserving and publishing design history collections, such as artifacts related to the New York Subway, as well as reprinting standards manuals from the likes of NASA and EPA. Their latest book, Classified: Local Ads from America's Small Towns.
